gizmo6824 Posted November 12, 2006 Share Posted November 12, 2006 Ummm....sorry to be the one to break it to you but there is virtually no guarantee on draft picks for them to perform right away......Whitner is perhaps a good example of one of the ones that does perform early....most either never perform....or you wait for their 3rd(4th) years for it to happen. 832774[/snapback] true ,very true, im just looking at picks by the old regiem like denny and kelso, that i could figure out why they went with them when there was better tallent on the board..... but i do agree with it takes alot of players a bit to get the hang of things...look at peerless, it took him 4 years before he figured it out and molds three..... Our first priority should be a RG/RT & a physical pass rushing DE(to pair with Denny opposite Schobel) and a big Big BIG two gap DT..... then you can go after a #2 WR, a speed homerun back to spell Mcgahee, my mock draft had us taking Norwood&Colston(maybe i should have drafted for us)...
