The majority of Congress is republican. I think the contrast has traditionally been good for the country.

 

If Congress were democrat, I dont think we'd see so many problems w/the Bush regime.

 

Its when the government becomes too shaded to one side that we have problems. The parties get out of hand, and right now, both parties are a bunch of morons
