rockpile Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Please, if you have a political agenda do not post here. I am only looking to get a head count. Thanks!
Johnny Coli Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Please, if you have a political agaenda, do not post it here. I am only looking to count. Thanks! 828016 Yes, I will. I get to work way before any polls open, but get out early so I will be voting.
smokinandjokin Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Yes, I will. I get to work way before any polls open, but get out early so I will be voting. 828021 I'll be leaving at 4 to vote. 828026 Rock specifically said to leave your agendas out of this.
Ned Flanders Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Heavy turnout reported already in Virginia...waited 35 minutes to vote in Arlington.
rockpile Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 Rock specifically said to leave your agendas out of this. 828037 I said POLITICAL agendas. General comments are welcome. JimSchiz has a thread to rant, vent, and pop blood vessels.
HereComesTheReignAgain Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Will be going right after work.
ofiba Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 You might be better off posting this on the Off Topic board. Most people that visit the politics board are the ones that actually care about politics, and will most likely be voting. The off topic board will probably get a slightly better sample. Unless of course you are trying to find out just how many jokers that post about political stuff actually go out and vote...in that case, good work.
smokinandjokin Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I said POLITICAL agendas. 828052
Taro T Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Yes, I voted in this poll. Oh, wait, that's not what you meant is it?
Chilly Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 No, I voted a while ago absentee, so I dunno what to put
rockpile Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 Good idea, I just put a link over there which I hope does not get moved to PPP. It will be OK I think, if people behave! I was looking for a wider view, not just the lunatic fringe. You might be better off posting this on the Off Topic board. Last time I visited I left without the tips of 3 fingers. sorry if this is getting into the agenda thingy.
Johnny Coli Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 GE holiday - get the day off to vote --- worked OT , most people make it a 4 day weekend . people in the office get the day as a floating holiday . 828207 It ought to be a national holiday. (no agenda implied)
Bungee Jumper Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 It ought to be a national holiday. (no agenda implied) 828212 And it ought to be illegal for the networks to cover any of the voting until the polls are closed. No agenda implied.
Beerball Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 And it ought to be illegal for the networks to cover any of the voting until the polls are closed. No agenda implied. 828217 Now that's the truth. No agenda implied. Gosh, you people are sure nice and polite over here.

linksfiend Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 @8:15 AM. 37th voter in West Seneca district 17.

At a minimum, it would be nice to see them not project winners in a particular state until after the polls have closed in the entire state.
