buffalobillsfootball
The synthetic grass field was restored through a $400,000 gift from the Kraft family and a $200,000 grant from the NFL. Not complaining that the Kraft family/Patriots secured a grant from the NFL for field improvements - more curious to know how often the BILLS sought/received grant funds from the National Football League. Any idea? It would be interesting to see a spreadsheet with every team and grant money allocated for stadium renovations/improvements from the NFL. gmac17
the NFL made them change the surface, so I'm sure there was plenty of negotiation between the two of them as far as who would pay for it. As far as getting outside money, the patriots have probably received much less than most teams (as far as gov't money at least).
Hammered a Lot
I think 2 years ago the Bills and the nfl donated $$$ to fix up football fields in the inner city (Buffalo).

What a mess that field is.
