Rico Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I am SO sick of hearing this hack's song, and as a result I will never ehhhh-ver buy a Chevy Truck.
Arkady Renko Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Better than some depressing commercial involving a sad divorced couple.
/dev/null Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 What's really starting to get on my nerves is that "Don't Hold Back" song from the Budweiser commercials
gmac17 Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 i think it was sports guy who made a comment about "who decided commerical involving watergate, the vietname war, rosa parks, hurricane katrina and 9/11 would sell trucks?"

beerme1 Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I like it and I'm on board. The tune is catchy, from the east coast, to the west coast, this is our country. Buy American.

True, some songs just don't cut it... And he sold out to Chevy... I always thought he resonated with "America" than say Bruce Springsteen... Seger did it too with "Like A Rock." The part is that it works with the common/blue collar man... Ya, dumb. Throw one's agenda aside and the negatives turn into positves for me. Ya... There was 911 and Katrina... Handled pretty good/bad for all it is worth... Pretty damn remarkable how we came out... As much as I can slack this country/government there is something to say about a kid like Kazoo Mike walking away with over 20k in two weeks of betting... And nobody is gonna lay a finger on the dude... Pretty cool considering we could be living in a country where the nasty side of human nature really runs a muck...
Rico Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 Why is he a hack? 826357 He's Johnny Cougar, say no more (nudge, nudge).

Now they will be forking over 500 a month on a new pickup so they can: Drive your 4 wheel drive right into the mud... ... People get way to uptight about what is negative.
ExiledInIllinois Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 He's Johnny Cougar, say no more (nudge, nudge). 826361 Ya... At a time in his life when he was looking for a leg up... Hoaky... Can you blame him? He did distance himself from that name... Could have easily hung onto it... There is a trailer-park mentality that he embodies that bothers some... Just come to the town I live in and you will see it...
