daquixers_is_back Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Hey Payton, need a commercial break? 826129 HA! I saw that sign too. Clever.
KD in CA Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 WTF is up with that move by the refs?????????? Brady is stopped cold a good foot from the first down and the ref runs in FROM BEHIND (nice angle on the play) and signals first down -- doesn't even consult with the refs who had the spot. This league is becoming more like the WWF every game.
daquixers_is_back Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Unbelievable. How do you call a 1st down without even measuring? Disgusting. Not to mention I think replay showed he was short.

Rubes Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 That is absolutely unreal. I've never subscribed to the New England favoritism thing, but that is the most blatantly unbelievable thing I've seen by the refs.

Now I think it's just comical. 826147 I would understand if it was a call that didnt mean much, but that is a HUGE call that changes the direction of the game completely. You HAVE to measure that. No way he made that.
daquixers_is_back Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Real score at halftime: Indi - 24 Patriots - 14 Refs score: Indi - 17 Patriots - 14
stevewin Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 What an f'ing joke. Don't forget also about only calling a 5 yd penalty and not PI on the previous drive. Indy should have had the ball at the one and should have 21 pts.
bbb Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I have never seen a ref run in like that out of nowhere when there is a big pileup and where it looks questionable (and upon review, was definitely a stop). There was no way the same ahole was going to overturn himself. And, then Michaels mentioned, but got interrupted by the Saners INT, that Winters also falsely gave NE an extra timeout. But, I never got the story.
daquixers_is_back Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Is Rodney Harrison back in the game yet? I hope so. I dont want to here any dang excuses from Patsy fans.
daquixers_is_back Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 See how the refs are calling penalties on the NE secondary? This is how the game should have gone a few years back with NE v.s. Indi ... I remember Ty Law and Co raping Harrison and Co. with no calls.

Indi ... I remember Ty Law and Co raping Harrison and Co. with no calls. You mean when the zebras ignored 14 holding calls (as per ESPN on opening night the following season) against the Pats? Yeah, that was special.
/dev/null Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 this has to be called a fumble.......got to be 826180 Ruled a fumble but not charged a timeout

Simon Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 And here comes the NE ground attack. The over/under for Indy possessions over the last 20:00 is "3".
