spyder00087 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 i think the o-line is looking better compared to the last games oline. its always good when there are no blindside sacks and fumbles!!!!!!!!!
jarthur31 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 A-train had almost 100 yards rushing. That could only help us too.
Dan Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I'd say they passed, but not by much. Still alot of sacks and pressures and very few passing lanes. But, I agree; no blindside hits and 100yds rushing are definitely positives. All in all, I'd say the experiment is working after one week.
spyder00087 Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 the play before willis got hurt, i saw the whole line of the bills just push back the dline of the packers, we havent seen that in years!!
Corp000085 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 peters will be a monster by the end of the season at LT
BillnutinHouston Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 There were a few plays where Peters was able to push the DE coming around the end at the last second to give JP a second longer to throw. Gandy just can't do that.
bluv Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Run blocking was better but pass protection took a step back. Hopefully they will gel. Even though a few times a game we will havea pass protection breakdown and JP would get blindsided, today he was constantly under pressure not even having time to setup!

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Run blocking was better but pass protection took a step back. Hopefully they will gel. Even though a few times a game we will havea pass protection breakdown and JP would get blindsided, today he was constantly under pressure not even having time to setup! 825768[/snapback] I thought the problem with pass protection today was mostly up the middle--Fowler, Villarial. The left side looked solid. Pennington got a lot of help on the right and the one sack he gave up was due to pressure up the middle forcing Losman into a 10 yard drop. I thought the problem with the pass protection today was a mix between the interior line and JP (he's got to get rid of that ball sooner)
Saudi Arabia Rob Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Was Peters injured? At the end Pennington was playing LT, which some guy named Butler was playing RT. Not good.
