ExiledInIllinois
I am torn... On one hand I want the Bears to beat the record, yet it is way too early in the season to even start thinking it... On the other hand I want to validate the Bills against the lame arse Fins and a Miami win IN... Somebody say IN Chicago... Looks like the end... I will be really surprised if they (Bears) pull it out against the Fish. As much as I hate the Fish and the record... They do deserve it... Soemthing has to be said about: Planning Coaching Motivation Basically, if your team can produce this and don't make mistakes... ANYBODY in the NFL can win... Anybody! Wow... What a downer for the OVER RATED Bears... I can see this team as easily as they won the first seven... Blow a tire and lose a bunch... I just saw this coming the week the Bills played them... daquixers_is_back
Miami won because they actually recovered Chicago's turnovers. Grossman threw our DB's the ball about 4 times and we simply did not catch it.

KD in CA
I thought Chicago was exposed on MNF against Arizona. Grossman and that entire offense is horrible. They needed a miracle (21 points from the D) to win that game, and you're only going to get that kind of result once. I expect them to get beat in the playoffs by a more balanced team like the Giants or Seahawks.

Yet, try telling those lugs from Chicago! A coworker still has "CouterFeit Bills" on his locker at work... In honor of me... I just wish ity was the Bills or Cards, rather than the Fins... Oh, well... Such is life... Now can the Sabres pull one out at MSG? ...I will consider it a great day... The inuries ther got me a sweatin'... daquixers_is_back
How'd the Falcons do today? 825625[/snapback] Horrid. I was wrong about that. Then again 98% of the football world was wrong about the Bears/Miami
Cornerville
You know what is exposed? The new "ESPN Era" of thinking about sports week to week One week the team is great...the next they were exposed. The Bears are 7-1. So when the Bills in the early 90's were 5-0 and lost at home to Miami, were the Bills exposed then??

Obviously somebody (Nick Saban) listened to Denny Green! It is just the fans quickly blew that off... The ChiFans gotta be dropping a load in their pants... Nothing sweeter than seeing this train derail...

Maybe I am seeing it in an objective light in this case (Chicago). Buffalo in the early '90's (even given the great Chi D) would rip this team a new arse... Denny Green's words have been ringing in my head... Even before he said them... And Yes (second/final part of your post)... Miami did expose Buffalo... Back in the day. Back in week 13 of 1985... The Bears were also exposed (manifested itself the following season)... It is just that NE went on to "fluke" by the Fins for a SB berth... Go figure... Just think of the colossal EASY schedule the Bear's have!! It is actullay gonna hurt them... I have always said, you learn more from playing good competition... Miami in the early 1990's were SB contenders! Bears lay an egg AT HOME to a bad team... Just in time to pick up bad habits before the grueling NYG, NYJ, and NE roady the next 3 weeks... If this doesn't make them... They will go down like a house of cards...

ExiledInIllinois
I know all this is funny... Perception of your opponent goes alot in winning in this league. That perception ALWAYS starts the planning phase. Miami, wanted that win... They got that win... It was one for the ages and THEIR TEAM LEGACY... Joke all you want... That goes far! Farther than stringing an exceptional season. YOU ARE YOUR HISTORY...

apuszczalowski
Anyone want to sign a petition to get the Bears thrown out of the NFL for that wmbarrassing game, we should be able to get alot of signatures just from the Bears board. Its a loss to the 1-6 Dolphins, hang your heads in shame Chi-town
