PNW_Bills_Fan Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I love how we are not losing (yet) and our fans so upset
Cripes Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 The idiots calling for Nall without having ever seen him play a down are just that: idiots. 825439 And the apologists that say JP Losman can't be "blaimed" -- when he just waited 3.5 seconds in a collapsing pocket on 2nd and 5 -- are getting shrill.
Bungee Jumper Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 And the apologists that say JP Losman can't be "blaimed" -- when he just waited 3.5 seconds in a collapsing pocket on 2nd and 5 -- are getting shrill. 825454 Not me. I absolutely think Losman can be blamed for this. Doesn't mean calling for Nall is sane.
PNW_Bills_Fan Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Your hear every former QB say that a QB has to get into a groove. It is hard to get into a groove when don't have time
ajzepp Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 The fact that we aren't losing is because of the defense and special teams. JP has done nothing. Completely ineffective. Sometimes a young QB just needs to take a step back and let his brain catch up with what's going on. Even though Carr has a few seasons under his belt, the other week they benched him mid-game in favor of what's his name. The team almost won the game with a miracle 4th quarter comeback. Today Carr is back in there starting. I don't see anyproblem with giving Nall a quarter here and there when JP just isn't getting it done.
SACTOBILLSFAN Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 I'm not advocating benching Losman in mid-season, mind you. The idiots calling for Nall without having ever seen him play a down are just that: idiots. I am advocating another rebuilding year, however. Sorry, Takeo. 825439 We all knew going in that this year was a rebuilding year. I would think you would want JP to get as much experience as he can this year. 825442 Yeah we thought we were rebuilding but the team is simply pathetic, and they've gotten worse on offense every week. And change for the sake of changing can be a good thing, and anyone who has played sports at higher level than rec softball knows this and i laugh when you say idiot bungee jumper because when you get to a high enough level all of the guys have ability or they wouldn't be there. Sometimes stagnation happens when guys get comfortable.
ajzepp Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Let's bring Nall in now please 825480 Everyone knows benching JP now would be stupid.
PNW_Bills_Fan Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 But JP sucks and we need change for change sake
MadBuffaloDisease Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Yeah we thought we were rebuilding but the team is simply pathetic, and they've gotten worse on offense every week. That, my friend, is BAD coaching. Basically it's opposing teams getting more gamefilm and the Bills' coaches doing NOTHING to make adjustments.
Bungee Jumper Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Let's bring Nall in now please 825480 Why not? It makes sense. Take Losman out on a high note, so he doesn't make a bad play and damage his confidence. It's the perfect time to put in Nall...
ajzepp Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 TD. I'm still not convinced. Wide open. 825504 So basically you're saying that Nall could have made that pass, too.
PNW_Bills_Fan Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 TD. I'm still not convinced. Wide open. 825504 Than you will never be
SACTOBILLSFAN Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 Evans was wide open didn't take a great pass. They won because of defense and special teams.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Evans was wide open didn't take a great pass. They won because of defense and special teams. True. It also took Evans not dropping the pass like he's done all too often this year.
JStranger76 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I could have made that pass. I'm not asking for Manning #s, just progress. He can't even manage a damn game.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 If you use your eyes, you'll see that there were a LOT of problems on offense, outside of JP.
JStranger76 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Trust me, I KNOW JP ain't the only problem. But it's his decision making in certain situations that give me doubts.
