1billsfan
It's apparent to everyone that the Bills are a long way from being a real good team. But that doesn't mean we still can't be proud of them or support them when they are playing badly. I look at this team and I see a roster full of rookie starters, a reshuffled offensive line, gimpy veterans and a QB still on the back end of an NFL learning curve. The reason they lost so badly to the Patriots and Bears was because those team have us beat on talent level at every position. The Detriot game still burns me up, but that's what you get when you're rooting for a bad team. It was a lousy performance. The reason they beat the Vikings and Dolphins was because they do have some talented players and somehow they pulled it all together as a team. A Bills team that gives an all out effort and plays smart is all that we can hope for now. If this team is trying and still losses this Green Bay game I hope that the fans can at least hold back with the boos and insults. They are long way from being good so I'm just suggesting to at least try to watch them as the team that they currently are and not the teams from previous playoff dominating years gone by. Who knows, they may reward you with a comeback if they find themselves behind in the fourth quarter.
CFLstyle
People just get frustrated watching miserable football, as much pride as we have in this team sometimes you gotta show frustration when things are looking down.
Cornerville
It's apparent to everyone that the Bills are a long way from being a real good team. udonkey
I'll see them in Indy, at home for the Chargers game, and again for the Dolphins game. Hopefully they'll end the 0-5 streak that I'm on so far...

If that turns out to be the case, I'll still be rooting for that joke of a franchise. Stay classy. If the players are playing as hard as they can and still not getting it done, then booing them mercilessly is pointless and mean when the team is just plain not good. I've accepted this fact and will watch them and root for them to get better and pull off an upset or two along the way.

I knew this was going to be a long year with a lot of growing pains, but I renewed my season tickets none the less. I'll get'em again next year. Don't worry, when the Bills do start winning again, the bandwaggoners will be back. Check out a Sabres board a few years back, same thing.
tennesseeboy
I'll support the bills no matter what, but as far as showing effort I think a claim can be made that they have taken on a defeatist attitude since Chicago. Hey..you get beat bad once in a while no matter who you are. Pick yourself up off the floor and go at the next team!! Hopefully after the bye week they will attack with the same enthusiasm they showed in the first few games. I see that kind of effort through the season and I'll support them even if we end up 4 and 12!
dib
. Who knows, they may reward you with a comeback if they find themselves behind in the fourth quarter. 823431[/snapback] Whoa whoa whoa, back the truck up. I've been a Bills fan longer than most of the players have been alive, and they're going to "Reward me" by having to come from behind to win a game? A reward would be dominating the game, and the season. It's their job to win games not to say "Oh well gee, they've been so good to us lets try and win this one now." If you want to watch someone come from behind and feel rewarded go rent some porn.
kasper13
Well, the fan support at home is dwindling. Buffalo News this morning reports that more than 7,500 tickets remain for the Jacksonville game on 11/26 and also for the Dolphins game on 12/17. Around 10,000 remain for the Chargers game on 12/3 and well over 10,000 remain for the Titans game on 12/24. Those 4 games will not sellout unless there is a dramatic turnaround. Even for this Sunday, although it's a sellout, tickets are easy to come by and they are dirt cheap. If you want to see Brett Favre play, you should be able to get in for $10 or less. On the other hand, just try getting a Sabres ticket around here- it's nearly impossible- only the last two home games in April have tickets left- less than 1,000 for each game. Sabres will go 41 for 41 with sellouts this season.
Chef Jim
Supporting them does not mean having to watching them. I enjoy watching a good football game and I haven't seen too many of those in the past several years. Will I be at the local sports bar at 10:00am this Sunday to watch the Packers game and eat wings? Absofukinglutely! But part of that is the Bills (and if they suck I'll leave at halftime) part of that is all the other games are on so chances are I'll see some good football and part because I finally found a place out here that serves great wings. Maturity rocks! I actually laugh instead of throw things when they play poorly. So sign me: Football fan who just happens to be from Buffalo. Reed83HOF
The key phrase in this post is "as long as they're showing effort"... nothing irratates me more than seeing the players sulk, when the ball bounces the other way...the resolve and determination of this team at times is disappointing... if they play hard and fight tooth and nial and still loose...thats more acceptable....but to let games slip away and then to play without emotion is inexcusable... you play to win the game....did anyone see Larry Johnson do his Herm Edwards impersonation? That was hillarious...

Maybe if they see that the fans are still into the game supporting them it could create the spark that turns the game around. As for your rediculous porn remark, looks like someone hasn't had it in awhile.
