Go to the bottom of their tip sheet, and the last meeting in Buffalo was a 27-18 victory for the Bills. Interestingly, it also may have been one of Rob Johnsons' strongest efforts in a Bills uniform! He threw for three TD's, one to Jeremy McDaniel and two to Jay Riemersma. The Packers, that day, shot themselves in the foot with three fumbles. That is what plagues the Bills right now....

THE BILLS-PACKERS SERIES:

The two teams have meet only nine times, the first game coming in

1974, a 27-7 Bills victory at Lambeau Field. Buffalo won five of the first six meetings. The Packers have taken two of the last three.

Each team has recorded one shutout in the series, the Bills in 1988 at

Buffalo (28-0) and the Packers in the teams’ most recent meeting in

2002 at Lambeau Field (10-0).

Seven points is the closest margin of victory in any of the nine meetings,

a 19-12 Buffalo victory in 1979.

 

Green Bay has won five straight and six of its last seven over opponents coming off bye weeks.

The last time the Packers lost such a game was Oct. 15, 1998, at Detroit.
