1billsfan Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 ...a few weeks ago? I guess it's easy to miss considering it's not being reported on because of ESPN's round the clock Cowboy/TO news mandate: http://patriots.bostonherald.com/patriots/...rticleid=163364 The Pats are now asking the NFL to help protect them against Bill Polian! I find this much more entertaining news than who TO is upset at or who Parcells is kissing.

It happened in NY when they were playing the Jets.
Catholic Guilt Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I'm not surprised one bit. A good Irishman gets riled up once in awhile.

This and the article about the Patriot fan getting beat up seem to be very one-sided. I'm not advocating a mob beating up an opposing team's fan, but the report seemed to only give one side of the story.
Patience Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Did they show the ref in front of a nice church, holding his flag ever so gently, with a sad expression on his face? Seems to be the Herald's way of reporting stories.

ILoveTomBrady Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 that "Godly Patriots fan with pregnant wife viciously assaulted by evil Buffalo fans" piece was pure trash. I don't even live in Boston and I feel inclined to apologize for it. that shouldn't detract from the fact that Bill Polian is a bully who is willing to cross the line and assault a Jets employee. even better that it was over pumping artificial noise into a stadium, something the Colts have been accused of.
The Avenger Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I'm starting to see some biased writing/reporting from the Herald. =821094[/snapback] Welcome to "journalism" by Rupert Murdoch.
JStranger76 Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Hopefully he throws a Pats employee right off the balcony this week. Now I'm really starting to miss that guy!
GG Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Enter pet peive #1 - Bills did not lose SB 25 because of Bellichick, they lost it because of Earhardt. Damn I hate when people perpetuate falsehoods.
