bartshan-83 Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Well for all the heat ND takes for having close games, today was a hell of a scare for pretty much the entire top 10. Of course, every team ahead of us ends up dodging the bullet, except for the one team that we DIDN'T want to lose!! (sorry SnJ...had to happen eventually I guess). Great weekend of football...I was at the ND/Navy game...excellent show. Quote

With all the close calls in the other games, I almost felt like they were going to win. They've been limping past bad teams all year, if they didn't lose yesterday, it would only be a matter of time. Unfortunately for ND, they would have preferred if the Trojans were undefeated for their game in Nov. Tigers, USC, Sabres...what a weekend.... at least the Bills didn't lose.... Quote
/dev/null Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 At the beginning of the season, would anyone believe West Virginia @ Louisville could have National Title implications? Right now it looks like the Sugar Bowl might be the winners of WVU/Louisville vs Michigan/OSU Quote

They are a little under the radar on a national scale, but the Big East knows who they are. A huge win in a BCS bowl game last year- beating Georgia in Atlanta in the Sugar Bowl- could propel this team to a huge 2006. From the National Champion Predictions thread in this forum. Quote
