As he thinks to himself, "Sherman should have plowed this place under with salt, Carthage-style", he looks over and sees a hottie in her car. (You should know that my friend is a legendary dog.) Since traffic is at a stand-still, he puts his car in park and walks over to hit on her. Of course, he gets her number and would later describe her as "the craziest nymphomaniac I've ever met." That relationship lastest a few months. Just last summer his new girlfriend informed him of his impending paternity. There was a shotgun wedding. The gods giveth and the gods later laugh and laugh.
