Draconator
Article from NHL.com http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=page&pa...rticleid=281705 If there is one thing that Biron and Miller don't want to have is a goaltending controversy. Biron is well aware of what happens in the National Football League with quarterback controversies. They have seem what has happened to the Buffalo Bills and the QB controversy that team has experienced over the past decade. "I've always thought that teams are better with a group of guys that get along together," said Biron. "But they are always better when the goalies get along together. If goalies don't get along together, it can split a dressing room. We've seen it here in Buffalo with the Bills and their quarterbacks. It's the same thing. "Ryan and I understand that. Last year was a prime example of what we needed to do for the team. And I think we have to keep it going the same way this season."

Last night when Vanek took the penalty late in the third, the other four players all went over to Miller and tapped his goalie pads as to say "not to worry" during to Habs powerplay. You can just tell they are all in it together, not divided or on a different page.
Tortured Soul
It's easy to say the right things when you're 9-0. But this team will lose a few over an 82-game season, even if they win 60. That's when you find out who they are.

They had some tough losing streaks last year but the team chemistry was never in jeopardy.

They had a couple of sour streaks in the regular season last year and always rebounded nicely with an even better winning/unbeaten streak. All you have to do is look at the playoffs. -- They lose two on the road at Philly...instead of getting down, they win the next two in convincing fashion to put the series away. -- With a chance to sweep, they lose Game 4 against Ottawa at home...instead of getting down, they beat the Sens on the road in Game 5. -- They fall behind 3-2 in the series to Carolina...they come back and beat those SOBs in Game 6. (And yes, they lost Game 7 but with a full roster, even just four healthy defensemen, blah, blah, etc., etc., who knows?) There are a couple of guys on this team who won't let their heads get too big and who will pull them out of it when the losing finally comes, not the least of which is their head coach.
