I agree about the Falls.  When people hear I'm from there, they say it must've been so cool.  I tell them they can duplicate the effect by putting some rocks in their bathtub and turning the water on full blast.

You two are like those guys who have really hot wives, but even though everyone else in the world can see how hot they really are, you've oblivious to it since you've been with them for ten years. Niagra Falls is some impressive schitt!!!

I don't really notice it, probably cause i've lived here all my life, but when I meet people from out of town that have either moved here or are just visiting they tell me how beautiful the scenery is in Oregon. I guess I don't notice it until some out-of-towner points it out.

The best things I have seen (and all relative to where my mind was at the time, etc.) on no basis than my own subjective taste based on the breathtaking factor.

1) Golden Temple - India (way better than the Taj Mahal, IMHO)

2) Machu Pichu - Peru

3) La Sagrada - Barcelona

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but those are close to my top 3. Rome is cool, but I can't think of anything in Rome topping out one of those 3.
