I hear what you're saying, playing to the players' strengths. What io'm saying is the strengths parts: there aren't many.

Amen to that. But it could also be a case where certain plays are being called to figure out various players' strengths. If the coaching staff isn't in the mode of evaluating players such as Losman, it should be. Fairchild might say to Losman, "execute plays X, Y, and Z every week. If you're still messing these plays up by the end of the season, they're probably not part of your strengths. We'll take that into account when deciding where to go with the QB position."

id like to know how fairchild comes from a "deep passing background".....he was our runningbacks coach under greg williams before he went to st.louis......and at st.louis mike martz was the head coach and offensive "guru" there...mike called the plays.fairchild got to call some plays for the last quarter of the season when martz was sick.we basically have a rookie calling plays for us..
