Beerball Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Peters didn't read the blitz, and didn't take the outside guy instead taking the DE, forcing Villarrial try and pick the blitzer, but it was too late. 812362 It was Villarrial's guy and he had the angle to block him. Unfortunately he didn't have the speed to make the play.
daquixers_is_back Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I'm a big JP fan, but he's GOTTA stop laying the ball on the carpet. 812360 Â What would you like him to do? Where a display in his helmet that tells him when his line is going to suck?
true_blue_bill Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Hate to say it, but this game is looking interesting!
daquixers_is_back Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Not just QBs. Any player can give themselves up, kinda like downing a kick in the endzone. 812363 Â Yep. And then they can get up and run/pass.
SACTOBILLSFAN Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Yep. And then they can get up and run/pass. 812368 Â No once they kneel in the endzone they have given themselves up and the play is over.
daquixers_is_back Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 No once they kneel in the endzone they have given themselves up and the play is over. 812369 Â I meant WR/RB/TE
SACTOBILLSFAN Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Thats why i hate Harrison. He just launched himself at royal'a head. Friggin cheapshot,
daquixers_is_back Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 What does that have to do with protecting the football? JP saw the guy coming at him, he still laid it on the ground. 812371  Oh he did? He placed it on the ground? For some reason my feed showed that he had it stripped. Well whatever.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 What would you like him to do? Where a display in his helmet that tells him when his line is going to suck? Hey, I'm what most would call a JP apologist. It's something he needs to work on.
UConn James Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Peters didn't read the blitz, and didn't take the outside guy instead taking the DE, forcing Villarrial try and pick the blitzer, but it was too late. 812362 Â That was a designed roll-out block, like we used to have the Counter-Tre. Â CV's job was to pick up the blitzer; he put in a weak block w/ his right shoulder.
Bungee Jumper Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Yep. And then they can get up and run/pass. 812368 Â That must be why, when a team's running out the clock in the final 2 minutes and the QB's kneeling down after the snap, everyone's trying to tackle him.
Frez Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Bills will probably come out of this with a friggen FG. Â Gawd, I'm just feeling so positive today about this game.
JAMIEBUF12 Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 well jp has thrown for a buck 125 already to bradys 63
dave mcbride Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 j.p's qb rating so far this game -- 118.8 (9/10 for 125 yards; 12.5 yards per pass attempt).
UConn James Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 We need to score a TD here to have any realistic shot at winning.
jdubs Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 nice catch by royal, did you see that missed block? jp was luckyto get rid of that one.
DCBongo Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Peters is become a nice OT, by next season he could be pro-bowl caliber. Lets give props to Coach Fairchild for getting the TE involved in the game plan. The offsenive game plan looks good this week, failed only by poor execution.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 What I wanna know is, what happened to the ST's? Lindell's the only bright spot so far. Even Moorman is disappointing me.
BuffaloRebound Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 If a player isn't kneeling and the whistle didn't blow, I would think players are taught to keep playing.
