stevestojan Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15066202/from/RS.2/ "...he’s writing a “hypothetical” book — which the Enquirer reports is tentatively being called “If I Did It.”" "He goes on, according to the article, to describe in gruesome detail the killing of his ex-wife and Goldman; he stipulates that the murder scenes are “hypothetical.” But, notes the tab, the descriptions are “so detailed and so chillingly realistic” that readers are left with little doubt as to what really happened." "Simpson aims to keep any book money instead of paying it out in a civil suit judgment against him by spending it all quickly."

millbank Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Clearly this is just part of his plan to bring out those who really did it by making them jealous at the attention he will be receiving. Wiley ole OJ....
MattyT Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Funny how this piece of "fiction" will likely become the most accurate portrayal of what actually happened that night.
5 Wide Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 He will place $3.5 million dollar proceeds of the book into the fund he has set up to "catch the real killers. The fund will grow to a whopping $3,500,001

The Avenger Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 but the glove didn't fit...THE GLOVE DIDN'T FIT! 810064[/snapback] Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense! Why would a Wookiee, an eight-foot tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, [approaches and softens] does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests. Here, look at the monkey. Look at the silly monkey!
ExiledInIllinois Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 So what if he did it... It isn't a perfect world... Innocent people are judged guilty, guilty people are judged innocent... What is the big deal? He worked within the system and got off... Why does everyone get shocked over this? Sure it is a tragedy for the victims and their family... For the rest we just move on knowing we don't live in a perfect world... A world we can't micomanage/control.
