MattyT Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Buffalo also has the second lowest per capita income...ahead of only New Orleans. As a Western NYer, that's pretty friggin depressing.
pkwwjd Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I got the biggest chuckle out of the Raiders being last in the league in fan loyalty ... so much for Raider Nation.
5 Wide Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 and it's the second most difficult task of being a Bills fan right behind the Browns
mead107 Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 we are ranked #5 in that soup thing to feed the the poor people
bills4bowl21 Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 oh thats a bunch BS. every1 knows buffalo has the best fans in the league..ask any qb which stadium they hated or hate playing in its no question the bills are at the top.....dont let a stupid study leave you to believe any different!! BILLS BILLS BILLS BILLS BILLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
smokinandjokin Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I plan on booing the Bills loudly this Sunday and leaving after the 3rd quarter if they play like they have the last two weeks. GO BILLS!!!
apuszczalowski Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I plan on booing the Bills loudly this Sunday and leaving after the 3rd quarter if they play like they have the last two weeks. GO BILLS!!! 810137 but you still show up and watch the game, showing your loyalty!
apuszczalowski Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I got the biggest chuckle out of the Raiders being last in the league in fan loyalty ... so much for Raider Nation. 810076 And yet they keep trying to force a team into LA, Maybe they should just move the Raiders back to LA?
HopsGuy Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I got the biggest chuckle out of the Raiders being last in the league in fan loyalty ... so much for Raider Nation. 810076 Since % capacity is a factor and some of the years in the study included time in the cavernous LA Coliseum, that had quite an effect. I'm actually surprised Miami is as high as 13th. Lots of those loyal Fish fans come to the stadium dressed as empty orange seats.
SACKMARINO Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Lots of those loyal Fish fans come to the stadium dressed as empty orange seats. 810163 LOL! - good one Pat. i notice sometimes they return to their seats at half time dressed as empty orange seats too. they must change in the bathroom.
Tcali Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Fan Loyalty Ranked 810042 THOSE MARKET POPULATIONS ARE WAAAAAAAY off...Cleveland 4.8 million??--does that include sheep and squirrels???....and Rochester isnt included in the Buffalo market---and Milwaukee isnt included in the Green Bay market----silly.
Mikie2times Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I guess it's a neat study. I just don't see it serving any practical purpose. You can't quantify fan loyalty, and that’s coming from somebody who tries to quantify a lot of unquantifiable concepts.
ExiledInIllinois Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Cool! Check out the: Per Capita Income (lowest in the league) Attendance Fluctuation Figures those bandwagon Chi fans are 27... I know a few that feel like they want to flee the train after the last win... Go FIGURE!

Part of the truth of the matter is that the Raiders don't have a continuous history in Oakland, and also that the San Francisco-Oakland Metro Area really shouldn't have two teams. JDG
keepthefaith Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Fan Loyalty Ranked 810042 Ridiculous outcome. The Dolphins at 13? I've spent some time in Southeast Florida and their fans are anything but loyal. It's a transient culture of low morality and their stadium has a lot of empty seats throughout the course of the season. Chicago should be near the top. The town is Bears crazy even when they aren't a good team. Bears talk dominates the radio, news and all of the papers. Very passionate fans.

That is why it is the "Windy City." They like to talk. Maybe... But, they jump ship in a heart beat... I always run into somebody that was born here and root for another team... Tampa, Dallas what not over the Bears. And oops... BFLO isn't the lowest per capita, NO is... Rejoice!
ExiledInIllinois Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Oh... Here is one example of a "loyal" Bears' fan... Grant ya, there are over 10 mil in the market area... My boss... Born and raised in Chicago... Became season tix holder... Then they redo Soldier Field and force a PSL on him... He gave up his tix... He now lives in NW Indiana and hopes the Colts rip the Bears a new arse in the SB (if it happens)...
