Swift Sylvan
Of our three DE's I'm curious to see who everyone believes is good enough to stay with the Bill's and who we should get rid of to be upgraded. Edit: Also I realized I didn't give an option for all of them to stay, but at the rate people are complaining I didn't think it would get voted much anyways. Tell me if I'm wrong. JM57
Kelsay/Denney or both. We'll see how the new guy pans out before I judge. Anyone who thinks Schobel should leave is nuts.

End argument, either way. He has twice as many sacks, alone, as Denney and Kelsay combined. End argument as to why he stays, they go.

BillsFanForever19
It'll be Schobel, Hargrove, Denney, and Powell next year. According to Chris Brown's blog, Kelsay is a FA after this season. I don't think we'll be looking to spend much on retaining his services. Which is another reason Buffalo pulled the trigger on a deal with the Rams. LT. RG. CB. 808509 I agree completely with the Tim Anderson comments. Oh i didn't say that we didn't have much more pressing needs. I was merely pointing out that you said anyone who says Schobel is nuts, and i said that if there was a justifiable reason to release him, then this team should go for it. I stated he can't stop the run. I was merely saying that if we were to find someone who could both get sacks and stop the run, then i would be interested. Swift Sylvan
So far Kelsay is by far the most popular of the three in terms of who should get the axe. I haven't seen any of the games (due to living in the pacific timezone) but statswise Kelsay looks superior to Denney, is Denney that much better? ans4e64
Why does anyone need to leave? Denney is a straight up monster this year, i cant speak for how he is on running plays but he is just wreaking havoc in backfields this year. Denney and Kelsay are leading this team in sacks. I wouldn't get used to any of these DE's.
34-78-83
Theres no reason that any of these three need to go. It would be nice, however, to somehow come up with a very good/great DE to throw into the mix here and make for a fine rotation.
Swift Sylvan
Take away the Miami game, because their O-line is worse than ours, and tell me how good they are. 808655 That would mean in 5 games Kelsay would have 3 sacks and 22 tackles. That still is really good for a rotational DE.

RayFinkle
Schobel/Kelsay/Denney.....is it just me or does it feel like the 3 musketeers have been the core of the Bills D line for about 20 years.
bills_fan
Defensive End might be the strongest, deepest position on the team. If it isn't, what is? It could be. Too bad there is no true difference maker. All three are good complemenatry type players. I can see all of them being absolute monsters (a la Bryce Paup) if we had that one guy who could command a double team.
