Besides all the other crap the officials let go yesterday, if I recall correctly, holding in the end zone is considered a safety.

Yet, when the Lions right tackle held Denny, I believe there was no call.

It's a conspiracy to piss you off. The NFL and the refs got together and are ensuring that penalties are not called just to anger you. See, it works.

I agree... it's sad to complain about the officials. However they missed a TON of holds during the game and the hold in the end zone, would have been a safety.

 

Whitners pick... don't get me started. Plain as day in HD.

Yeah I caught that one too and was perplexed that the official who was standing right there in perfect position didn't see the lineman basically tackle him.

I saw one of our o-linemen hold beyond belief in our endzone too--thankfully the officials didn't call it... a very laisez-faire official crew. We only had 2 penalties, compared to our usual 10.
