BuffOrange Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 is on Insider now? WTF I'm really starting to hate ESPN. Mortenson I could live with because all he ever does is kiss everyon's butt, but Simmons was my favorite read anywhere. I don't care if they put the whole website on insider and only charge you 50 cents/month, I'm not going to subscribe to that crap.
HopsGuy Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 He is? I read his Red Sox - Angels preview today for free and now there is a prompt to sign up? I sure hope this is a technical glitch. He said that he wanted his content to remain free and would fight any attempt to make it part of the premium service. That would stink.
Last Guy on the Bench Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Still up for free as of now, both on the ESPN home page and at sportsguy.net. Where did you see that they were moving him to insider?
HopsGuy Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Click on a link to the story. You get about a paragraph and then there's a sign up.
Guest Guest Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 The guy has the right to make a living - did you think the internet would be free forever? Get used to it...
Last Guy on the Bench Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 The whole column is coming up for me. Both of the main page and at sportsguy.net. Weird.
