Buftex Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Remember, MNF is not what it used to be. Now, the Sunday night broadcast on NBC is the marquee game. ESPN's MNF will have all those same odd mathcups that they used to have on Sundays night (remember, the Bills played Sunday night games against such fierce rivals as the Panthers and Cardnals!), in an attempt to get every team, excpet the very dregs in small markets (ie: Buffalo) on national television. Before the season started, the Cardnals were a trendy, "sexy" pick to be legit contenders, with Warner, their two stud receivers and Edgerrin James...this type of matchup is exactly why they faught so hard to get the flexible schedule late in the season.
