udonkey Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 You've probably seen my other thread by now about my new tailgating van...I'm torn on which color scheme to paint it and need your input. Click the poll choices to see a Photoshopped mock-up of each. Original thread is at: http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=50963&hl= Thanks...
Chilly Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Blue, but I also think Black would look cool too
JM57 Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I changed my mind. Red van with the logo colored properly.
BuffaloBilliever Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Well my bodies getting painted blue for the Pats game.
Mile High Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Neither. Go with the Yellow Sabres color. Hot!
nick in* england Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 You have to go Red, get the stripes down the middle helmet style, and the logo properly coloured... That's going to look SWEET.
Buffal0 Bill5 Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Did you cosider white with the standing Buffalo, just kidding, it just reminded me of some old helmet threads. From the pictures presented, the blue looks better, and from a painting standpoint would be easier to do. I do think white with the logo you have would look sweet.
apuszczalowski Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Red, then get a big brush bar for a 4x4 truck and paint it white, bolt it to the front, it will look kind of like a helmet And the Brush bar will help you push through the drunken crowds on your way out of the lot
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Must be red. Stands out much more and looks more authentic. Either way will be a heck of a good looking tailgate machine.
udonkey Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 Definitely leaning towards the red, although blue was my initial choice. Hmmm...
Simon Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 If you paint it white, the blue and red trim/logos will probably stand out better.
udonkey Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 If you paint it white, the blue and red trim/logos will probably stand out better. 803823[/snapback] I hear ya, but white gets so damn dirty...red is still bright even when covered in WNY dirty slush
Rayzer32 Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 If you paint it red your insurance will go up. Actually, I don't think insurance companies take color into consideration anymore. It used be that red vehicles raised insurance because they were involved in more accidents. Just one of those things that makes you go hmmmm!!!

CoachChuckDickerson Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I would paint it the dark navy blue of the pants.
Nanker Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Blue. The Cops will stop you too much if you paint it red.
BillsWatch Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Red definitely. Blue on blue has little contrast. Could do Standing Buffalo on other side and really make it stand out.
