shagmago
This is ridiculous, obviously it was a really deep and bad hamstring pull. Why didn`t they just come out and say that when it happened?.....It would go something like this............."Takeo Spikes has a really serious deep hamstring pull and he`ll probably be out for 6 to 8 weeks." Instead, they lead us on with this day to day crap! Does anybody have a stat on how many games he`s actually played since he got here? He`s started to piss me off with all his injuries. It might be time to ditch this guy for a mid to high draft pick or trade him for a couple of experienced o-linemen.

He's not worth anything coming off all these injuries. As to the hamstring pull, it's a touchy injury. You can feel 100%, go out and run, and immediately pull it again. It's one of the hardest injuries to recover from because it can feel 100% when it's not.

RJ (not THAT RJ)
didn't andre reed miss like 12 weeks with a "hamstring pull"? 798124 Well, they didn't call it a pull... they called it a tear, and everyone knew he was going to be out a long time... I remember watching that tackle... he had his foot planted and was bent over forward... ouch!

Its ludicrous to think this is anything but what it looks like, a hamstring injury, which usually takes at least four weeks to heel. Furthermore, not only does it almost always take this long, but it's better for the Bills to call him week to week so the other team has to plan for him, which they do. They also don't know if he can play until he tries to run hard on it (on wednesday or Thursday) and then see if it is fine or worse the next day, which they did. Further furthermore, a hamstring injury is NOT an injury, like most are, where a player can just gut it out. if this was only a pain injury, like a broken forearm or something, Spikes would surely be out there. He's one of the most dedicated players in the entire league. Further further furthermore, a hamstring injury that is played on before it's healed can end a player's season. It gets worse if it's not healed. His position on this defense is also one that relies mostly on acceleration and speed and ability to get to a spot. It's one of the true day-to-day injuries there are in the league.

Bill from NYC
And yet another post bashing an injured player followed by the "get rid of the guy for draft picks". Awesome. 798179 Yeah, but the "experienced o-linemen" was a nice touch. After, all teams are constantly trading their best blockers. Did you know that Mike Holgrem is sitting by a phone right now trying to deal Walter Jones?
