sharp Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 jr says stevestojan and gets docked 25 points, but last week stewart said all he cared about was "kicking robby gordon's ass" and got no fine. 2 weeks ago r. gordon takes out 2 guys on purpose and gets no points taken away, seems to me the punishments being handed out aren't always right for the crime
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 I do know that twice this year the same exact penalty has been handed out to two Busch drivers for swearing on TV. They were docked 25 points and fined. It isn't just Jr........you swear you pay.

BF_in_Indiana Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 I'm not saying I agree with guys getting fined for swearing but if they know it's going to happen they better not do it or they should expect to be docked points and fined.
stevestojan Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 I'll bet one thing's for sure: Dale Jr will never say s#it again during an on air interview.. dumbass.
BILLS4LIFE Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 NASCAR is getting too sensitive about stuff. About a month or so ago, they were upset about one of their sponsors, which is a big bottle of Powerade being knocked off of the winning cars in victory lane. The thing is some drivers dont sponsor Powerade, which is made by Coca-cola and some drivers sponsor Pepsi, which is made by Pepsi. So they started fining people. Then some drivers (the ones who dont sponsor Coca-cola/Powerade) started by just blocking the bottle with their own sponsor and still got fined. On the Dale issue,Kurt Busch who has the lead now, said he wants to settle this on the track. I agree, because the fine was more than enough and there are still drivers out there who say stuff worse than what Junior said and still get away with it. The Cup should be settled on the track and not by those morons who run the sport! So NASCAR... :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:

It was Jimmie Johnson. He put some big Lowes sign in front of the bottle and NASCAR still threw a fit. I forget the question that was asked, but whatever it was Junior was just excited at the moment. Junior does well at the short tracks, too. The only ones he is really worried about are Kansas and Miami, but there is still Atlanta where he won earlier this year. He will do fine and will still be the champ at the end!
Corp000085 Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 I don't watch NASCAR. I watch F-1. But, i do have an opinion on this fine thing. It's just stupid of nascar to set an example by docking racing point for a non race incident. I guess the equivelant would be belicheck saying that mularkey coached a stevestojantty game, and his team gets docked 2 TD's, lose the game and are now in 2nd place in the afc east. If it happens on the track, dock him point. if it happens off the track, fine him. I don't really care who wins, as i don't follow the marboro/nextel cup, but i do hope that the champ wins by less than 25 points, and jr. is in 2nd place. That would make for an interesting OT thread.
Stanley Lombardi Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 I like Earnhardt, but I'm glad he got fined. The absolute beauty of all this is that there are 3 stations in America--CBS, NBC, and ABC--where you can't show, well... where you can't show porn during the Saturday morning kiddy hour. But Dale Jr. says sh*t on broadcast T.V. and the soap opera peddlers get righteous. Yeah, America, feel righteous for awhile.... until you walk over to YOUR T.V. and turn on the real sh*t. You are the one who is paying for all those other channels that, believe me, your kids are watching. But you're really a "good person," I am sure; it's the guy next door who is the real downfall of this country, right?

Just type stevestojan. Everyone knows what stevestojan means.
