"It's still early to say we're developing a swagger," CB Ricky Manning Jr. said. "We've got confidence in ourselves and it's important to have confidence. But we're not going to pat ourselves on the back. We've got to keep rolling. It's the first quarter of the season and we're just taking it as a stepping stone and going from there." RB Thomas Jones added, "We love to play football. Every week we're excited to play a game, and I think that's the reason we've been so successful. Everyone's excited about the Buffalo game. The only way you can really measure yourself is against upper echelon teams not beating the dregs of the league. I don't think we'll win, but this is the kind of game you want to prove yourself in.
