Catholic Guilt Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 I was at the Carolina/New Orleans game today. Saints linebacker Fiujita blockes Steve smith with a cheapshot blindside after a play is over. Wonder if he'll he fined too?
daquixers_is_back Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 What exactly does 'NM' mean? I know I should know this by now.

dave mcbride Posted October 2, 2006 Author Posted October 2, 2006 video link....anyone? 792195 just saw it on the halftime show - not sure if there's a link anywhere yet. anyway, andre gurode was lying on the ground sans a helmet, and looong after the play ended, haynesworth stomped on his head. he opened a gash that required 30 stitches.
daquixers_is_back Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 video link....anyone? 792195 no message 792199 Thank-you ... and the video basically shows Haynesworth stomping on the Dallas's players helmet and leaving a gash that needed stitches ... although if this outrages people then what goes on in the middle of a fumble pile (testical grabbing, eye gouging ... etc) should be sending half of the NFL players towards fine, suspension and jail time

He stomped on his head! It deserves more than just a fine, IMHO.
dave mcbride Posted October 2, 2006 Author Posted October 2, 2006 Jim Haslett anyone? 792215 dog - indeed!!
daquixers_is_back Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 His helmet was off. He stomped on his head! It deserves more than just a fine, IMHO. 792214 I could have swore that he stomped him with his helmet ON, but then his helmet came off ...
dave mcbride Posted October 2, 2006 Author Posted October 2, 2006 I could have swore that he stomped him with his helmet ON, but then his helmet came off ... 792217 it was definitely off.
bdelma Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Haslett stomp was on turf not on the grass. Cleets!
Bmwolf21 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 it was definitely off. 792223 I haven't seen the replay since it actually happened, but IIRC, it looked like the helmet was loose near his head and Haynseworth kind of kicked it away from his head before he actually kicked his face. To me it looked like two motions - a sort of sweeping the helmet motion then the kick to the face, but again, I haven't seen the replay since it happened live...
daquixers_is_back Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 it was definitely off. 792223 hmm ... i dont know how I didnt notice that

SACTOBILLSFAN Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 peter King says $25K fine WTF that's a joke. 792211 And Peter King is never wrong. 4 game suspension from the NFL and hopefully Fisher is true to his word and takes the law into his own hands and suspends him w/out pay for the rest of the season.
