BF_in_Indiana Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 The Hunt is over.........it's a REDBIRD OCTOBER!!!!! 2004.........The year we get number 10!!!!
SeanO Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 I don't see them advancing. They do not have any dominant starting pitchers. Goodluck though!
USMCBillsFan Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 The Hunt is over.........it's a REDBIRD OCTOBER!!!!! 2004.........The year we get number 10!!!! 57077[/snapback] Don't birds fly south for the winter??
Jukester Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 I'm with you BF. The Cards have the team to go all the way. Our line up is too good. Pitching worries me a bit with Carpenter being out but i'm more worried about our closers. By the way what's up with the 12pm start? The networks suck!! Not only do I have to take time off to go to the game but people on the west coast (Dodgers fans) have to watch the game at 10am. Unbelievable. They couldn't put the east coast games earlier?? I know, I know. It's all about ratings and the Red Sox and the Yankees get top billing. Whatever.
BillsFanNC Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 You had better hope they win, otherwise you will have to take stevestojan of the likes of which have never been seen around here.
CosmicBills Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 BF, they got jinxed last week. The SI jinx is as tough as any to get over. So don't get your hopes up too high
gantrules Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Good luck Cards....I'll remember these predictions.
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 5, 2004 Author Posted October 5, 2004 Well as long as Scott Rolen doesn't trip over the tarp and hurt himself ala Vince Coleman I won't worry too much about the SI jinx. Jukester is a lucky man, I wish I could be in St. Louis today
