DeLuca1967 Posted October 1, 2006 Share Posted October 1, 2006 When did third downs become a passing only down. 3 & 13 - pass 3 & 3 - Run - Def Penalty 3 & 1 - Finally a McGahee TD. 3 & 7 - Pass 3 & 2 - pass 3 & 7 - pass 3 & 1- pass Except for goalline it was pass, pass & pass. Handing the ball off on third down is not a sin. It may even work. Considering the QB has a hard time throwing the ball pass the first down marker.
