5ths the charm Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Why this trick stuff now? Just make them walk the length of the field, we aren't good enough for this Mularky crap.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Smart play by the viking, even though it looked like he was no going to make an attempt to catch the ball.   Looks like he would have let it drop  Bad break for Buffalo on that play call  The stangest stuff seems to happen to this team 791217  Bills certainly are good at creating situations that make for creative application of the rule book...
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Hey, that's the defense for the onsides kick now. Call for fair catch!
udonkey Posted October 1, 2006 Author Posted October 1, 2006 So what happened? Initially, it showed Minn's ball at Buffalo's 15...then it went back to mid-field (per nfl.com gamecast)
ofiba Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Hey, that's the defense for the onsides kick now. Call for fair catch! 791220  Yeah, as long as the ball doesn't hit the ground first. Most onside kicks are kicked off the ground to get a wild bounce.
gallagher Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 you can clearly see the viking closest to the ball wave for the fair catch........good call, unfortunately 791212 Â Not only is that questionably a wave, he makes no effort to catch the ball. Â Now that's fair catch interference.
udonkey Posted October 1, 2006 Author Posted October 1, 2006 In other news, 8 minutes to go in the Miami-Houston game and the Dolphins are winning 3-0 Â
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 In other news, 8 minutes to go in the Miami-Houston game and the Dolphins are winning 3-0Â 791225 The game is almost over?
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 So what happened? Initially, it showed Minn's ball at Buffalo's 15...then it went back to mid-field (per nfl.com gamecast) 791222  Pooch kick, recovered by Thomas. Vikes called fair catch, so it was Vikes ball. The officials ridiculously called interference even though no Viking was within two yards of the ball, and tacked on an extra 15 yards, which moved the ball to mid-field.
udonkey Posted October 1, 2006 Author Posted October 1, 2006 The game is almost over? 791227 Â Oops...8 minutes to go in the 1st half Â
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 The game is almost over? 791227 Â Any Texans or Raiders game is over before it begins, by definition.
Tux of Borg Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 In other news, 8 minutes to go in the Miami-Houston game and the Dolphins are winning 3-0Â 791225 Â Good, I picked Miami in my last man standing pool.
