JÂy RÛßeÒ
OK we know how Mularkey for some reason forgets he has tight ends. Add to that Daunte's issues and McMichael's dropsies and I figure he's good 4 nuthin. Vernon Davis is my other TE, but he just broke a leg and is out at least 4 weeks. I picked up Owen Daniels from Houston who is having a good year so far with 2 TDs already. Other possibilities are: C. Baker (NYJ - TE) M. Bruener (Hou - TE) E. Johnson (SF - TE) B. Scaife (Ten - TE) D. Wilcox (Bal - TE) W. Heller (Sea - TE) R. Owens (Min - TE) B. Fletcher (Ind - TE) A. Bergen (Ari - TE) D. Campbell (Det - TE) A. Smith (TB - TE) J. Witten (Dal - TE) G. Wrighster (Jac - TE) M. Schobel (Phi - TE) D. Graham (NE - TE) B. Troupe (Ten - TE) R. McMichael (Mia - TE) D. Lee (GB - TE) B. Franks (GB - TE) S. Alexander (Den - TE) D. Martin (GB - TE) J. Putzier (Hou - TE) B. Utecht (Ind - TE) R. Kelly (Cin - TE) M. Pollard (Det - TE) Thoughts?
BuffOrange
Jason Witten clearly looks like the best of that bunch; I'd stay with McMichael over Owen Daniels though.

BuffOrange
I just put him on IR in my league and made a claim for Winslow (easily the best FA out there). Of course, he has the same bye week as my starter (Watson) so I also made a claim for his backup Eric Johnson. Johnson caught a lot of action last week in Davis' absence and led the team in catches a few years ago before getting killed with injuries the last couple years. This league is generous with roster slots though. If your flexibility is limited I frankly don't think you'd be losing much by dropping Davis, given the awful track record of rookie TE's. And McMichael is the next best TE behind him. After that is E. Johnson, he will step for VD and not miss a beat. Although he is injury proned. KD in CA
Should I drop Vernon Davis since he's out at least 4 weeks and maybe pick him up again when he's healthy? 788889[/snapback] I did. He hasn't done much anyway. E. Johnson seems to be getting most of the work in SF.
