taterhill Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I am personally placing a hundred-dollar bounty on the head of Joe Theismann. He's the color man and chief punk on that MNF announcing squad. Yeah, a hundred bucks of my own money for the first guy who really nails that creep.

I'm sure Kornheiser will kick another $5. McGuire's probably good for a contribution, too.
taterhill Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 I wish they would replace them with Nessler, Vermeil and Jaworski..They were good
taterhill Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 I just raised it $200 for his latest...Mike Vick Ball Wash
DCBongo Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Joe is not a smart man, but he does know football. No wait, he doesn't know football. Send him back to Sweeden where he belongs!

Imagine a Dierdorf-Theisman teaming. 786718[/snapback] Howd you like theismann's VABills math? N.O. is on their own 35, and need to get to the falcons 35 for a 52 yard FG attempt. According to Theismann, they needed to gain 40 yards to get in range for a 52 yarder.

I want to see Joe and Holcomb's Arm discuss Losman's passing yardage yesterday. That would be interesting...

I'm not a huge supporter of his but did see him give an hour live presentation in front of 400+ people about 7 years ago. He's a terrific speaker and the presentation was very interesting and very funny. He was given a standing ovation at the end.
BuffOrange Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Hard to complain about any announcer after 3 hours of Randy Cross.

There is absolutely nothing even remotely terrific about him. You got some bad acid 7 years ago. That was JoeSixPack you were listening to, not theesman.

Shamrock Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bounty_(chocolate_bar) Oh wait, my bad. Wrong bounty. And here I am thinking that'd be a neat trick nonetheless.
Beerball Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 This just in, it's the receivers having a bad game, not Vick.
rolly Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Theismann is a cocky SOB who just spouts out at the mouth. By the way, did anyone happen to see the spike lee interview where he said, "and I wasn't even smokin!" That was amazing.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Theisman is not likeable but at least he knows the game. The biggest fool on the tube, by far, is Brent Musberger. Cool Brent knows nothing about anything but the networks just keep wheeling him back out. Must be cool to be as cool as BM.
