DPR4444 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?i...e=ESPNHeadlines Well, when you're already on a four-game substance abuse suspension, that's a lot of free time on your hands.......
Beerball Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 That should give him extended free time shouldn't it? He wasn't a "little" drunk either, blew twice the limit.
stuckincincy Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Profiling!!!! Everybody knows that Cadillac Escalades on the road at 5 AM are just getting an early start on bird watching!
dib Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 No biggee, he'll get his job back, his fat salary back, and when this is all blown over the fans will welcome him back with open arms. You try this at your job.

My opinion before was that when he came back from the 4 game suspension, a trade possibility was fairly strong - he missed the first few days of training camp, prompting HC Lewis to respond to a reporter's question with "I have no idea where he is - you go follow him". He made a good splash last season, but as it wore on he continued with too much free-lancing...MLB's shouldn't do that. This likely will end up being a season-long suspension. What an idiot...
stuckincincy Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Update on Odell Thurman... WR Chris Henry and rookie WR Reggie McNeal were in the vehicle, too. Thurman told the police he was driving because he wasn't as drunk as the others. Henry vomited at the scene. Thurman's girlfriend got stopped for DWI at the same checkpoint 3 hours earlier.
