Corp000085
Darn, is he out for the season? 785096 well he hasn't lived through the night yet, but i'm sure when he's not critical anymore they'll assess his injury in terms of football. Golden Wheels
This is the first report I saw. The Bucs are denying that Simms is in critical condition, but it sounds serious. link Edit: Peter King just came on the NBC broadcast and reiterated what Corp000085 said. Peter
The bastards at profootballtalk.com tried to paint him as someone who was afraid to get hit after the Ravens game. This kid sounds like he is tough as nails. I really hope that he is ok.

stuckincincy
He "played through" a ruptured spleen? Jesus... I don't know if that's tough, or stupid. Probably both. 785609 Really. IIRC, the spleen in addition to it's lymph system duties, provides some kind of protection against bacteria that if left free, rapidly cause a deadly septicemia. Let alone internal bleeding.
