Dibs
The Jets were effective enough, even though the YPC doesn't show it. There were enough "must have" short yardage plays that they made to negate any flashy stats. 784752 I think you are mistaken here. If you take away their last drive(where our D was spent) they had 2 short yardage gains on the ground....not good but not bad. Their running game didn't however contribute for them all day apart from that. They only had 3 long drives which consisted mainly of pass, pass, pass, pass. Their 7 other drives were stuffed fairly soundly by our D. Our Run Defence was good today....against a poor rushing team mind but good non the less. true_blue_bill
Aaron Schobel is easily a top-12 DE in this league. Hands down. Ever consider the fact that opposing offenses have to game plan to stop him? Sure hes no peppers or freeny, but hes a damn good DE. 784749 What? Game plan to stop Schoebel??? Swift Sylvan
What? Game plan to stop Schoebel??? 784824 Why would anyone do that? I mean he is OBVIOUSLY VASTLY over-rated. We have one bad game on D and suddenly our D sucks, big deal. If players got as down about a loss as we do we'd be lucky to win 1. Schobel is in the top 12 DE's in the league and there wasn't anyone on this board not angry that he didn't go to the pro bowl last year. They're either going to turn it around or they won't be here next year when someone who will turn it around takes their place.
