YOOOOOO Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 There was still 2 seconds on the clock when they blew the whistle... WTF???
grog Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Is he an idiot? Let the play clock expire??????????????
MDH Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 JP throwing for over 300 and the O-line doing a great job of pass protection were highlights. But how did we lose a game like this?...home opener, throwbacks, huge rushing day, garbage bags flying across the field, Buffalo weather, ugh! 784395 They're called turnovers. If you lose the turnover battle 3-0 the game isn't going to be very close.
grog Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Is he an idiot? Let the play clock expire?????????????? 784398 He made up for it, but still
MDH Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Now is a great time to scramble. 784400
YOOOOOO Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 He made up for it, but still 784403 it looked like there was still a couple seconds on the clock when they whistled..... i thought it was going to be called for illegal motion or something....
ajzepp Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Is he an idiot? Let the play clock expire?????????????? 784398 Maybe he was trying to draw them offsides....in which case it would be a pretty smart move since it gives you a first down and a few more shots at the TD.
Deep2Moulds46 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Well turning over the ball 3 times will do that 784394 I agree, he played bad today. Im just saying that the stat junkies and fantasy geeks who didnt even watch weeks 1 and 2 and said he was awfull, will probably come back this week and say he is improving....when in reality, those of us who watched the game see regression.
MDH Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 if we get the onside kick... we win. 784408 Yeah, all they need in an onside kick, 50 yards of offense and a two point conversion. Easy!
Dibs Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Now for the #1 special teams unit to earn their standing.
JB_55 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Yeah, all they need in an onside kick, 50 yards of offense and a two point conversion. Easy! 784414 I was at the oilers game... so I have faith
true_blue_bill Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Yeah, all they need in an onside kick, 50 yards of offense and a two point conversion. Easy! 784414 And to win in overtime!
MDH Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I agree, he played bad today. If you think you're going to have a QB that doens't have these types of days you're crazy. This is just another step in the process. He did some great things today but, unfortunately, he countered those with two boneheaded plays that cost the team bigtime (I don't blame the sack/fumble/TD that happend on him, McGahee didn't even touch the blitzer).
grog Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 To be honest, if I knew Buffalo would score 20 points today, I would have assumed a win.
Deep2Moulds46 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Yeah, all they need in an onside kick, 50 yards of offense and a two point conversion. Easy! 784414 Against a 30 MPH wind no less. Hey, no problem. This game is over . 2-0
