Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 is now saying 60% chance showers/wind. 782621 This is a good thing, cosidering the Jets ground game is anemic.
Acantha Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 is now saying 60% chance showers/wind. 782621 I know it sucks for the tailgate, but a windy day favors the Bills. Pennington is going to have to win this game for the Jets, and with his weaker arm the wind will make it that much more difficult. A win makes a great day no matter what the weather is.
Fezmid Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 This is a good thing, cosidering the Jets ground game is anemic. 782624 Exactly. And considering we don't throw much....
zow2 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I agree, a windy day will be awful for the Jets. I love watching the opposing QB on windy days in OP. Even with the wind, they overthrow short passes by 10 feet.
rockpile Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 It's gonna mess up my hair. 782631 not mine!
Buffal0 Bill5 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 It's gonna mess up my hair. 782631 A real fan would go with head shaved and painted.
EndZoneCrew Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I love that weather forcast.....Doom and Gloom for the JETS!!!!
Frez Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 We find out what the Bills are made of this weekend.
keepthefaith Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 We find out what the Bills are made of this weekend. 782702 Run Bill McGahee, run!
ganesh Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I know it sucks for the tailgate, but a windy day favors the Bills. Pennington is going to have to win this game for the Jets, and with his weaker arm the wind will make it that much more difficult. A win makes a great day no matter what the weather is. 782625 Why do you say that. The jets might have not shown their running game yet. But with bad weather that might be their ideal ploy considering that we have not YET stopped the Run. Our run defense showed better stats against Miami, only because Mularkey ran Ronnie Brown twice in the 2nd half. Mangini will try to run the ball and take time of the clock. I think this game is going to come down to how good our team is going to STOP THE RUN.
MarkyMannn Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 is now saying 60% chance showers/wind. 782621 Hopefully it will be sunny and 80 instead. Because you know if the weather guys said it was going to be sunny and 80, it would be 60 and showers
stuckincincy Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I hope it turns out a decent day. Folks like to tailgate, and like to watch the game without ducking rain and wind and cold. NFL attendence costs a fair amount of money. Better to see players ply their skills under good circumstance.
kasper13 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 There's been only a few "weather" games in the last few years, most were snow games. I bought a rain poncho at the preseason opener in 2001. I have used it twice in 5 years so far. Law of averages. If Pennington leaves RWS under his own power late Sunday afternoon, I will be surprised. Two or three backup OL for the Jets, Coles may be out, no running game to speak of, wet & windy conditions. Good Luck.
eball Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Buffalo football weather -- awesome. (I hope it warms up for next week when I'm there.)
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 DIEEEEEEEE JETS DIEEEEEEEEEE 782793 Attaway.
AJ1 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 is now saying 60% chance showers/wind. 782621 If the wind comes through for us, the Bills will beat the living crap out of the Jets.
