Phlegm Alley Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 LT is on a bye this week and I need to figure who I will put in his place. The problem is that I have a stable full of horses who have difficult matchups. My RBs are: Ronnie Brown (obvious start against an anemic Tenn. D at home), Frank Gore at home vs. PHI, Chester Taylor at home vs. CHI, and Fred Taylor @ IND. Part of me wants to start Gore becuase of how well he has done this year. But he is going up against a PHI D that held Tiki in check this past week. Chester Taylor is another intriguing option seeing as how Ahman Green had a stellar week 1 against the CHI D as he rushed for 110 yards on 20 carries. The Vikes play at home, it is a huge divisional game, and he is starting to run well behind that massive left side of the OL. Fred Taylor plays # Jax but has had a lot of success against the Colts D and Corey Simon is not playing this week. Who would you guys start and why?? Quote
BuffOrange Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I'd go with Gore. F. Taylor never scores so he's out. To me, it's highly likely that Green's week 1 performance was an anomaly. I doubt the Bears gameplanned all week to shut him down as the Eagles did with Barber. Quote
BILLS4LIFE Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Id still start Gore. It looks like your best option. Quote
stinky finger Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Nice RBs! Tough call. I go Brown for sure then I think Fred Taylor. I love Gore, but fast Freddy is going to have a field day againsy Indys banged up D. Just a hunch. Quote
