Orton's Arm Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 There's an unwritten rule that if you want to be a coach or GM, your name has to be Mike or Bill. Since that's the case, and since we're talking about the Buffalo Bills, it makes sense to hire guys named Bill instead of Mike. Look at the track record: Guys we hired named Mike Mike Shepherd Mike Mularkey Coaches and GMs named Bill Bill Parcells Bill Belichick Bill Cowher Bill Polian You can't go wrong with any of them. It's time for a little more Bill and a little less Mike. Maybe Levy realizes this, which would explain why he didn't hire Mike Sherman.

That'd be interesting he'd be re-united with a mobile #7 QB

udonkey Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 There goes my chance of ever having a career in the NFL... what if I go by Michael?
silvermike Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 It was a rough year for Mikes in 2005. Sherman, Mularkey, Tice, Martz all got the axe.

RuntheDamnBall Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 I find myself wishing we had more Teds around. Washington, Marchibroda, Cottrell. And if we had a "Tedy" the forces of destiny would be with us.

Kelly the Dog Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Congrats. That's by far the most reasoned, intelligent, insightful, fact-filled post you've ever made. The only element it has in common with all your other posts is that it's completely irrelevant.

SnakeOiler Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Personally, I could use a some more Takeo. Every time we get a takeo its been great.
Orton's Arm Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 Are you suggesting that it's time for a little more Dick? 781796[/snapback] It's too bad it's you that's asking me this question, and not your avatar.
