Fan in San Diego
Well, that would be my solution if it was possible. I never would have had cable in the first place if I could have had DirecTV. But, unfortunately I live in an apartment complex that does not allow dishes (obviously stops me from getting DirecTV or Dish). I am on the North side of the building with no balconey or patio. So, there is no chance of me getting a dish. So, yeah, your suggestion would be great, but it is just not possible living where we are. We have no choice in who our TV provider is. Believe me, if I could have had DirecTV, I would have had it a couple years ago when we moved in. 780136 Have you considered moving ? I would ! Billsguy
This is far from over. News is that other cable companies are going to take a hard line with NFL Net over the next year. 780371 TW isn't the only one. I have Charter communications and they pulled NFL network last year even though I subscribe to the Sports tier. The cable co. said that the NFL demanded that its network be pulled off the sports tier or they would deny their service to Charter. They did. Apparently the NFL demands that its network be put on the same status as ESPN or it will withhold service. Cable rates keep rising because ESPN keeps demanding fee increases. I guess ESPN has to pay for 10,000 former jocks/analysts on its payroll. IMO ESPN,cable and the NFL are trying and succeeding in pissing off almost everbody. I can barely watch ESPN anymore. Thank goodness for the mute button.
