Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 According to my wife, it's isn't the father they stop showing affection for, it's the mother. My wife and her mom were constantly at each other from early teens to early twenties. Of course, now they're best friends again and call each other nearly everyday... 780470 Don't I know it. Jesus, my mother-in-law calls three times a day.
Zona Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 You're right, I love it. Hugs and kisses from my little girl are priceless. The day's going to come when she's a teenager, and will be afraid to show affection to her old man. That will be the saddest day of my life. 780464 Not so fast Joe. My little girl just turned 13, and she still gives me the occasional kiss and hug. I am hoping she still will in a few more years, but for now it is ok....
Chef Jim Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 That's good advice. We start and end the day with a 'family hug'. 780449 So do we. The cat's not too crazy about it however.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Rachel and I never end a conversation without saying "I love you."You just never know. That's also why I don't like leaving angry. I wouldn't want to remember our last moments together in an argument. 780419 You named your car "Rachel"?
Guffalo Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 You named your car "Rachel"? 781144 (I think thats code for the right hand, when he uses his left , it's Laura)
