Rubes Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I saw in one of those front-page stories that Donte has heard the defense will be introduced before the home opener... Man I wish I could be there. After the big win, this crowd is going to be pumped. And when Donte is introduced on the field, I fully expect it to be ear-shattering. If we can find a way to keep this train rolling, there are going to be some fun times ahead.
destro32 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 You think that will be ear shattereing..... The stadium mught explode if TKO comes back next week and gets announced !!!!!
GhostsOfTheRockpile Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 You think that will be ear shattereing..... The stadium mught explode if TKO comes back next week and gets announced !!!!! 778290 If they are announcing the D first and TKO knows it - and you've got to believe he does - my guess is he is in uniform and starting Sunday. As much as a rush as the rookies and others are going to feel stepping out onto the field, TKO's is going to be that much bigger in his first home game back after that monster injury. Plus, you KNOW he's excited how well the D is playing despite being in a "rebuilding" mode, gotta think they can do great things, etc. That should be enough for him to grace us all with his warrior dance. Can't wait!
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 That should be enough for him to grace us all with his warrior dance. Can't wait! 778370 Just so long as he doesn't pull something. mmmmkay?
BUFFALOTONE Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Just so long as he doesn't pull something. mmmmkay? 778372 just thinking the same thing, jesus i can see it now spikes out for 4-6 weeks for dancing during the pregame announcements.
BoondckCL Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Takeo is already in his pads and is ready for Sunday's game if they are announcing the defense. Ear shattering cheers and plenty of excitement when TKO, Donte Whitner, and Ko Simpson take the field. Usuals will be McGee, Fletcher, Clements.
billsfanmiami(oh) Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Hell yeah. I was hoping that they would announce the D on Sunday. The Ralph is going to be electric.
booya2 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Just looking at this thread and we're all sitting here debating who gets the biggest ovations... Whitner, Spikes, or the usuals like Fletcher, McGee, or Clements, it occurs to me, anyone who thinks this is a "rebuilding" year take heed to the defensive intro Sunday at the Ralph. And I end this message with... BOOOOYA!!!!

They are a good defense and more than likely will be great next year if they can learn how to stop the run.
eball Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Query: does TKO still think the Bills threw in the towel and are rebuilding?
Peter Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Man, I really wish that I could be there for the home opener. It is going to be great. I really think that the young players are going to get a kick out of the atmosphere -- especially for the home opener.
EndZoneCrew Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I could break the bench off in the EZ from all of the pounding during that introduction...very similar to last year when the bench back was ripped off last year!!!!
HurlyBurly51 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Man, I am pumped! That place is going to be rockin' on Sunday I remember that place back when Lawyer was first introduced, and I'm hoping we can top that this Sunday
cåblelady Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 The Ralph is going to be electric. 778396 Possibly. Forecast is predicting possible thunder storms.
BuffaloBilliever Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 And... at Outside Linebacker, TAKEEEOOOOOOOOOO SPIKES *Ralph Implodes*
Mike32282 Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 I just hope it's individual intros. The place gets more pumped up that way compared to.... "Introducing the 2006 Buffalo Bills defense."
Lori Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 And... at Outside Linebacker, TAKEEEOOOOOOOOOO SPIKES *Ralph Implodes* 778752 If they do it right, they'll leave him until last. And based on the reaction to his first tackle in the Browns game, it'll set off the seismograph at UB. Thinkin' I'll be wearing a #51 jersey for this one... and I'm sure I won't be alone...
daquixers_is_back Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Dangit. You guys are going to make me cry with this type of talk.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 I'll try not to lose my voice before the game starts.
Beerball Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Just so long as he doesn't pull something. mmmmkay? 778372 Crap, if he were to pull a butt muscle I think Harriet would break down and cry in the stands. She would then quickly seize the moment and offer her services as a professional masseuse. Gotta love that girl's passion.
