MattyT
Anybody even notice him? Dolphins | B. Anderson injured Week 2 Sun, 17 Sep 2006 19:02:03 -0700 MiamiDolphins.com reports Miami Dolphins OG Bennie Anderson (triceps) suffered a triceps injury during the Week 2 game. BTW, I'm no Slim Goodbody, but is it likely that he injured more than one tricep? Or is triceps the singular form?
clayboy54
I believe you are thinking of Triceratops, which was thought to have weighed up to 12,000 lbs and was originally thought to be a part of the Bison family. It turned out to be proven that it is not a Buffalo. Much like the Triceratops, Bennie Anderson also weighs close to 12,000 lbs and is no longer a part of the Buffalo family. Rubes
The triceps is actually considered one muscle, although it has three heads (hence, "triceps").
Britbillsfan
He went out pretty early on with the injury. A reason why he was not very noticeable.
silvermike
Yeah, there's no such thing as a 'tricep', and triceps is plural. That said, Willis McGahee (Ligaments) wasn't particularly unlikely, so who knows.
Dr. K
It's always "triceps" plural. There is no singular. Likewise "biceps" is always correct and "bicep" never is.
silvermike
Not to belabor a detail, but you would say "Due to a freak accident, Anderson tore both triceps" not tricepses?

Formerly Allan in MD
You have to hand it to the Ravens PR Department. They sure snookered Donohoe. Either that or Donohoe's scouts didn't have a clue because Jamal Lewis was Superman.
