Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 "We made up our minds we were coming in to get a win," McGahee said. "And we did." This is what I want to hear from him. Determination. After last week's loss, he just sounded...like he didn't care.
eball Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Hey Joe...remember when you asked me how I'd feel after week two? I feel pretty good.

billsfanone Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Winning does that, I guess. 777812 Exactly.
Buffal0 Bill5 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I'm so confused. I thought we were gonna bench this guy?

Tar and Feathers Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I'm so confused. I thought we were gonna bench this guy? 777864 You're not the only one confused around here.
Dan Gross Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I'm so confused. I thought we were gonna bench this guy? 777864 3.5 YPC = bench 3.6 YPC = starter. Fine line indeed...
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 3.5 YPC = bench3.6 YPC = starter. Fine line indeed... 777889 My postulation last week had more to do with attitude than production.
bluv Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Watching Willis pick up BOTH guys on that rush was f...ing unbelievable!!! 777827 That was a really impressive block and OVERLOOKED and not mentioned enough. I bashed WM a lot last week as he tiptoed and danced too much in the 2nd half in game 1 but most of the time he ran downhill against Miami and that is what I like to see him wear down the D and punish defenders. I don't mind him shaking and baking as long as he is moving forward. When he runs more like Bo Jackson than trying to be Barry Sanders he is so much more effective!
bizell Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Watching Willis pick up BOTH guys on that rush was f...ing unbelievable!!! 777827 yeah, and then the next play he misses a block and losman gets sacked
Peter Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 yeah, and then the next play he misses a block and losman gets sacked 778067 Sitting in the stands, that play looked like it was supposed to be a screen to WM.
Alaska Darin Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Sitting in the stands, that play looked like it was supposed to be a screen to WM. 778096 Doesn't change the fact that he HAS to make contact on that play. Period.
Peter Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Doesn't change the fact that he HAS to make contact on that play. Period. 778105 I am just telling you what it looked like. Period.
Alaska Darin Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I am just telling you what it looked like. Period. 778111 I don't recall whether it was a screen or not. If it was, it was very poorly designed/executed and Willis needed to at least put his hands on the 37 because he was blitzing up the middle. No way you can give an NFL defender with a number in the 30s a ten yard running start at your QB. We were really lucky on that one.
