PromoTheRobot
...you ran into the ground last year! Is there a sport where coaching is more important than football? What does today show you? Basically the same team from last year, only with a bunch of rookies thrown in, and they take your Super-Bowl-contending-a$$ to the cleaners! Anyone still think Marv Levy doesn't know what he's doing? PTR
MadBuffaloDisease
It's not the same team, PTR. It's MUCH better now.
Steven in MD
If anyone should have known how to attack this team and win it should have been Mularkey. Shows how out of touch he was with this team. I do not care what anyones says, this team is better than last year...both in coaching and in heart! BRH
Does this mean that the City of Buffalo, not just the Bills, beat the Dolphins today? (apologies if this was already said... i'm sure it was, somewhere.)
RunTheBall
It's not rocket science, its's playing to the strengths of your team. Mularkey and his coordinators tried to force the players to fit a scheme instead of altering the scheme to fit the strengths of the players. It's a pleasure to have reasonable play calling on the sidelines again. RTB
Fires
Not the same team he left. We didn't run the end around every other 3rd down... Gonna be a fun season watching this Defense... The OL will gel within a couple weeks and will greatly improve... I know it's only week 2, we should all be excited about this team. It's a good time to be a Bills fan, and actually see a young Bills team with a bright future, led by a good coaching staff.
Ray
How about doing simple things like on 3rd and long from the Dolphins 35 run a quick slant to pick up another 7 yards to get a reasonable FG. Last year it would have been a 7 step drop and a sack and a punt. Smart play calling and simple things helped a lot today. It'll be interesting to see around the country if it is "what's wrong with Miami?" as opposed to "gee, the Bills actually have a decent team!" That's actually fine with me, the less recognition the better just as long as they keep on winning.
