Coach Tuesday Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Reed, Denney, Wire - picks 2-4. HILARIOUS. Thanks for finally showing up and winning us a game, fellas. And I hear Mike Williams had a kick ass day for the Bucs too.
Albany,n.y. Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 People were all over Marv for re-signing Reed & Denney when they hit free agency, and for his draft. Now they know MARV KNOWS FOOTBALL
MDH Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Reed, Denney, Wire - picks 2-4. HILARIOUS. Thanks for finally showing up and winning us a game, fellas. And I hear Mike Williams had a kick ass day for the Bucs too. 776565 Denney looks like he's found a defense that he fits his strengths. Through the pre-season and two regular season games he, finally, looks like a player.
VABills Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 People were all over Marv for re-signing Reed & Denney when they hit free agency, and for his draft. Now they know MARV KNOWS FOOTBALL 776591 Yeah but he also resigned Wire. Which is it?
Swift Sylvan Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Reed, Denney, Wire - picks 2-4. HILARIOUS. Thanks for finally showing up and winning us a game, fellas. And I hear Mike Williams had a kick ass day for the Bucs too. 776565 Josh Reed is leading the WR for yards and TD Ryan Denney is leading the DE for sacks This is awesome!
Typical TBD Guy Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Yeah but he also resigned Wire. Which is it? 776596 Which is it? In the context of your sentence, it's "re-signed."
loadofmularkey Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Ryan Denney is leading the DE for sacks This is awesome! 776597 Imagine that. Donahoe's high-motor guys are finally paying off.
VABills Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Imagine that. Donahoe's high-motor guys are finally paying off. 776620 But Donahoe sucks.
Albany,n.y. Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Yeah but he also resigned Wire. Which is it? 776596 Donahoe re-signed Wire, Marv inherited the contract.
dreadlox Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Imagine that. Donahoe's high-motor guys are finally paying off. there's no way you can make me feel negative about the bills today, but that statement came pretty close.
Gotta Dream Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 That's the amazing thing about TD> Drafted some decent players (MW excluded) but couldn't find a coaching staff to use them correctly. Pathetic. Didn't he have problems with Bill Cowher and Andy Reid as well? May know talent and salary cap, but definitely not coaches.
MRW Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Yeah but he also resigned Wire. Which is it? 776596 More like he was resigned to Wire.
BillnutinHouston Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Imagine that. Donahoe's high-motor guys are finally paying off. 776620 And who stuck by Lindell when folks wanted to run him out of town?
Fixxxer Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I would say they're always here. so I would change the title of this thread to Guess who just arrived? a competent coaching staff and FO.
Astrobot Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Patience was rewarded. Lindell, Reed, Denney, Wire, you've named them. It's beginning to look like our patience with the rehabbing Willis will bear fruit as well. Hopefully we'll have the same patience with Spikes.
JDG Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Donahoe re-signed Wire, Marv inherited the contract. 776626 But Marv also kept him on the roster.... even though the plan was surely to play the two rookies at safety, Marv probably saw something in Wire on special teams... JDG
SilverNRed Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Imagine that. Donahoe's high-motor guys are finally paying off. 776620 They just needed a non-Donahoe coach to help them succeed.
loadofmularkey Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 They just needed a non-Donahoe coach to help them succeed. 776774 Thank God that's Miami's problem now.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 But Marv also kept him on the roster.... even though the plan was surely to play the two rookies at safety, Marv probably saw something in Wire on special teams... JDG 776745 JDG.... I think your Losman meter needs adjustment... Why not let him start with a clean slate this year and see what the stats look like?
BuffaloBilliever Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Donahoe made good choices no doubt. I find no problem with any draft, no matter who it is, because of one name. Erik Flowers.
