ajflutie Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Don't they rotate in and out to stay fresh ? 776560 nah not at strong safety
VABills Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 nah not at strong safety 776602 Sure they do. Wire was in for few series today and Witner was out.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Sure they do. Wire was in for few series today and Witner was out. Cool. That will even better depth when Bowen comes back! Same with Takeo. I wonder what Takeo thinks now?
Fan in San Diego Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Cool. That will even better depth when Bowen comes back! Same with Takeo. I wonder what Takeo thinks now? 776608 Yes, I would love to hear what TKO thinks, but when he's in the rotation this defense is going to rock ! Good times ahead ! Wagon train soon departing !
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I'm starting to think they give Takeo more time off. Hamstring injuries after leg injuries are common and lingering.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 17, 2006 Author Posted September 17, 2006 Shame on me. I forgot to mention Ellison. He's been holding his own, especially today. Ellison, Whitner, and Simpson, with McCargo and Williams....I'm overwhelmed by these guys so far. 776435 Shame on me as well forgot to mention one of the 4 starting rookies. This draft class looks fantastic so far. From my view you dont judge a draft until at least a year or 2 after it seeing how the players mature. This bunch is playing well and more importantly coached very well.

Lurker Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 It's all Witners fault. Where is tar and feather. He has a job to do. 776511 Gotta love the attitude: "We wanted that shutout," Whitner said. "And it was my fault. I underplayed the seven route and he cut up underneath it. I'm going to learn from it, and maybe next time I'll get the interception."
Ray Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Great attitudes by these guys and like Jauron said "you want them to learn by winning." Man it's nice to actually win again.
twist_to_open Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Dick Juron is doing exactly what he wanted to do, take a young D and make ther fast and strong!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Gotta love the attitude: "We wanted that shutout," Whitner said. "And it was my fault. I underplayed the seven route and he cut up underneath it. I'm going to learn from it, and maybe next time I'll get the interception." Impressive. And I'll bet he does next time.
Dibs Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I mean, that old man is clueless draft Whitner and company. 4 rookie starters on defense, plus I saw McCargo playing. Simpson and Whitner were both making plays and Williams was a brillant 5th round pickup. 776491 What about John DiGiorgio? He may not have been drafted, but he is still a rookie.....and he contributed 1 Tackle. 4 Rookie starters, 6 contributors.
