stuckincincy Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 My Dear God. Something must have surely snapped.
TheMadCap Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Holy schitt, this can't be real. I am totally shocked. I met them both at the tailgate before the Jacksonville game. ANd the children. What the hell would he do something like that for?
OnTheRocks Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 I didn't know Kelly. But I feel like I just got punched in the gut. Both for him, his wife and his children.
inkman Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 RIP brother. I'll root for the Yankees tonight on your behalf.
smokinandjokin Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 I can't imagine it EVER getting that bad... I suppose this isn't the place to rush to judgement, but damn that's not cool. Poor kids...
cantankerous Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 imagine having to tell your parents that you killed your wife (possibly on accident)poor guy. 774363 Accident? With a baseball bat? How??? I didn't know the man but that is awful he would leave his kids with no parents. I will say a prayer for them and his wife. That's just sad.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Jesus Christ. I had just met Kelly for the first time last month actually, he swung down and showed up at Giants camp for ***** and giggles. He was the first guy I ever met from The Wall. Just...speechless right now... Prayers go out to his kids.
theesir Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 I just looked at Thialog's profile and there is a link to his blog, titled "Getting close to Belltower time". My God was this a message that things were getting out of control in his mind. He also has a picture of Conner (his son) there. I almost cried when I saw it. He posted picures of them before. I'm as sick to my stomach now as a was when I read this a couple of hours ago. I can't stop thinking about his kids. Please, everyone pray for those kids.
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Just another couple thoughts... Parents: hug your kids. And anyone who's having trouble with their marriage: no situation is so bad that this or anything similarly tragic is the solution. Get help!

He even posted in his birthday thread early on Thursday! This is just plain horrible. (EDITED)

Posts indicate he was getting ready for a collectibles show next month...
VABills Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 imagine having to tell your parents that you killed your wife (possibly on accident)poor guy. edit: accident, meaning maybe he was not aware of his own strength 774363 What was he supposed to do, only hit her a little? WTF
Stevie Ray Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Shocked! I never met T personally, but always found him to be witty, one of the true characters on this board, which makes this whole event so unbelievable. May God watch over his children.
